Costs for bottle production The avarage weight for a 500 ml PP bottle produced with ISBM system ranges between 18 gr up to 19 gr of raw material depending on the form of the bottle The avarage weight for a 500 ml PP bottle produced with a BFS system is between 28 up to 29 gf of raw material depending on the form of the bottle (without considering the scrap material) In manners of raw materials consumption, the cost for producing one 500 ml bottle with the SBM system is lower with about 33% than producing it with the BFS system
Wasted raw materials With the GF system the wasted raw material for the production of one 500 ml PP bottle is equal to 0% With the BFS system there is 30% of wasted raw materials forming a 500 ml bottle. This  wasted materials need to be treated in special ways to be used again (after treating this wasted materials, with additional costs, the customers can’t use it alone, but have to mix it with a high percentage of new raw material) It is another point in advantage of ISBM system in means of production costs optimization 
Optical inspection The bottles produced with the ISBM system have high levels of transparency, so the customer can obtain high level of accuracy in case of optical inspection The bottles procuded with the BFS system do not meed the levels of transparency of the SBM bottles Better results and higher accuracy in case of optical inspection for the ISBM bottles
Leak detection In case of leak detection the results are the same In case of leak detection the results are the same No difference
Hours of production ISBM system is suitable to work in continuous from 8 hours up to 24 hours per day without any problem The BFS system is preferable to be used 24 hours per day for have the optimal productivity The possibility to use the ISBM system for any period of time from 1 hour up to 24 hours depending on the customer need
Interface and line simplicity The ISBM system have a very simple interface so there is no need to high qualified operator to supervise on it The BFS system is complicated and may need a professional technician and may an engineer to supervise on it The ISBM system is more user friendly
After bottle forming In the ISBM system there is a possibility to blow the bottles inside with ionized compressed air to be sure that there is no residual or any plastic particles inside the bottle In the BFS system there is no possibility to clean the bottles inside on ceformed, so the product purity depends completely on the machine accuracy only Better accuracy in product purity and cleanness with the ISBM system
Bottles sterilization The PP bottles formed by ISBM system it can be sterilized in autoclave at high temperatures up to 121°C without changing the shape of the bottle and no deformation The possibility to serilize the PE bottle still a temperature up to 106 - 112°C, regarding the PP bottles we have no idea The bottles made by ISBM system can be sterilized a thigher temperatures and for longer time
Possible closures With the ISBM system the reare different types of caps which can be applied on the final bottle:
1.   Sealed Euro cap
2.   Sealed Irrigation cap
3.   Screw cap
4.   Stopper and Aluminium cap
With the BFS system the bottles exits from the machine already closed. For the application of a cap similar to the Euro Cap there is a need for another machine usually sold separately The GF system have more flexibility regarding the closure type
Bottle design With the GF system the bottle design can be changed and personalized at any time the customer need, it request only a change in bottle molds is needed We don’t know if there is possibility to change bottles design, we saw always same bottles from BFS systems  
Change format To change the bottle format (ex: form 500 ml to 1000 ml) with the GF system, it takes around 2 hours for the complete line We don’t know the change format timing  
CIP/SIP Cycle The estimated time to prepare the filling machine to a CIP/SIP cycle is around 5 min, and additional 25 min to do the cycle, automatically without the need to use any special tool by the supervising operator We don’t know if there is any possibility to do a CIP/SIP cycle  
Speed The ISBM system can reach capacities up to 24.000 BpH, depending on the customer request The BFS system can reach just a 4.500BpH maximums peed The ISBM system can reach higher speeds
