Boost Your Sterile Production with our Depyrogenation Tunnel
Maintaining sterility and ensuring a reliable thermal process are essential steps in every aseptic filling line. The Depyrogenation Tunnel (DT Series) is designed to deliver consistent dry heat treatment for glass containers (such as ampoules, vials and cartridges), while ensuring smooth integration between washing and filling operations. Built in stainless steel and engineered for optimal airflow control, it provides a robust and efficient solution for customers aiming to strengthen the performance of their sterile production.
A Three Zone Architecture of Depyrogenation Tunnel for Full Process Control
The tunnel is divided into three chambers, each with a dedicated function to guarantee safe handling and validated depyrogenation, in particular:
- the Inlet Chamber: a fan draws air from the room (or via ducting), pre filters it, and pushes it through HEPA filters before it flows over the containers. This laminar top to bottom airflow dries and pre-heats the glass while preventing hot air backflow from the sterilizing chamber.
- the Sterilizing Chamber: built with a double stainless steel shell and internal insulation, this chamber recirculates air through HEPA filters, over the conveyor, and back through the heaters, with a maximum air temperature of 350°C (processing parameters are optimized for each vial type to achieve effective depyrogenation without overheating.
- the Cooling Chamber: air is continuously recirculated through HEPA filters, and excess air from the filling machine is routed to the first chamber and exhausted. A chilled water cooling battery lowers the temperature.
A Dependable Solution for Aseptic Filling Lines
With precise airflow control, automated thermal management, and a fully enclosed stainless steel structure, the Depyrogenation Tunnel delivers the reliability required for high quality sterile production. It supports manufacturers in improving process stability, product safety, and overall line efficiency.
Summary
The DT ensures a clean transfer from washing to filling, delivers validated high temperature depyrogenation, and cools containers to sterile room conditions, all within a robust stainless steel structure. With controlled airflow, adjustable process parameters, and seamless line integration, it provides a reliable and efficient solution for strengthening aseptic production performance.
